CMH Renault Midrand’s service clients will remember our service department and warranty department being propped in a corner of the sales floor like some abandoned and forgotten stray, totally out of place and not at all what you would expect from a flagship dealership such as ours. Well, good news, we have finally finished our allocated building for the service department, and they are moved in, settled and ready for your business.
Our service department reception is warm and inviting, with coffee freshly made and ready to wake you up before your long day starts. We also have a vending machine with ice-cold cold drinks on hand for the hot days when the running around leaves your throat scratchy and dry.
Elias Manyathela is your friendly service advisor on call, and he is ready to look after anything you might need with regards to servicing and repairs, while Caren Van Der Walt is ready to assist with any warranty queries you might have and to process your warranty claims with her calm, friendly mannerism and she always has a laugh ready to brighten your day.
Danie Burger is the workshop supervisor, and he will make sure that your vehicle is well taken care of and serviced or repaired to your satisfaction. Danie has been with our service department for only a few months now, but he has settled in well and knows exactly what needs to be done. He is friendly, approachable and ready to assist you with whatever you might need from him.
Dean Nell heads up the workshop along with the rest of the capable and very professional crew, and he is also here to make sure that nothing falls short of the mark.

Renault Does Well In 2017 Kinsey Report | CMH Renault Midrand
We at CMH Renault in Midrand are extremely proud to announce that, according to the 2017 Kinsey report that was released earlier this year, our Renault models are amongst the cheapest vehicles to service and repair on the South African market today.
The Kinsey report, which has been running annually from 1990 and is endorsed by the Automobile Association of South Africa, scans the market to assess which vehicles are the cheapest to service and repair by comparing service parts cost, body part costs and initial purchase prices, then draws the comparisons between the 3 cheapest ones in each category.
According to this report, the Renault Kwid got the 7th overall place in the “City and entry-level cars” class but beat all its competitors in initial purchase price. The Sandero and the Renault Clio took 2nd and 3rd place respectively in the “Super-mini” class, beating the winner in the category with initial purchase price but just missing the nail on crash-part costs. The Renault Duster took 5th place in the “Compact Crossover” class, beating most of its competitors on initial purchase price. These are huge accolades for our vehicles, and we are proud to see our vehicles doing so well in the current market.

Trusting your vehicle with any mechanic is a huge issue for most new and experienced car buyers. It is one of those tasks that even when you are only requesting a quote, you might close your eyes in hopes that the amount which will be reflecting on the quote is not going to burst your pockets. Service Mechanic Ephrone is the first person you will meet, on any typical day at the workshop. He is usually his funny and extroverted self. Quite often you’d hear him say ‘’this thing is not easy’’ referring to the skill required to work on any Renault issue from maintenance, repair or service work. But then, he will say,’’ but no worries, we will figure it out’’.
